Yankee Boy White Pu-Erh
I am very excited to have found this white pu-erh. It’s rare to find a good aged tea made from white tea leaves. White tea is very delicate and thus difficult to age properly. This tea combines the delicate floral flavors of white tea with the gritty earthy flavors of pu-erh. I’ve often said that a good pu-erh is like tasting grandma’s basement. Don’t think about that too hard.
I named this tea after Yankee Boy Basin in western Colorado. I might elaborate more in a blog post.
